Dr. Rodney R. Lafon Performing Arts Center in Luling features a 1,304-seat proscenium auditorium and a flexible 2,500-square-foot multipurpose space with a capacity of 200 guests. The 30,000-square-foot Edward J. Dufresne Community Center offers meeting space and a 13,900-square-foot gym to host gatherings of up to 1,200 people. St. John the Baptist Parish Community Center in LaPlace has 25,177 square feet of space for up to 1,500 guests. The circa-1780s Destrehan Plantation Meeting Facility includes a 4,585-square-foot restored mule barn and carriageway suited for events of up to 250 guests.
