A major 30-million dollar renovation and expansion is on target for 2016 in Panama City Beach (FL) and a brand new 300-room Omni Hotel and conference center in Frisco, TX is on target to open in 2017.

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL—Bay Point Golf Resort & Spa will become the new Sheraton Bay Point Resort in mid-2016 upon completion of a $30 million renovation, according to Valerie Drake, director of group sales. The ongoing transformation will enhance every aspect of the bay-front property, located on St. Andrews Bay with a private bay beach, outdoor catering venues, private boat shuttle, championship golf courses, full-service spa, tennis, pools and water sport rentals.
FRISCO, TX—New Luxury Hotel To Open At The Star — The 300-room Omni Frisco Hotel, set to open in early summer 2017, will serve as a cornerstone of The Star development, which will be anchored by the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and The Ford Center, an indoor stadium for amateur football with seating for 12,000.
A 16-story property with 300 guest rooms and suites, the hotel will include a fine dining venue, a` lobby coffee and wine bar, and a rooftop pool bar and grill. Situated on the fourth floor, the rooftop pool and deck will accommodate 300 to 400 guests.
The hotel will feature 24,000 square feet of meeting space, inclusive of a 13,000-square-foot ballroom. The Omni and Dallas Cowboys partnership also offers planners and attendees access to additional meetings and exhibit space in the Ford Center, as well as events on the plaza.
