MONTGOMERY, Texas—Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe | Houston has been named Texas’s Best Incentive Hotel at the 2026 World MICE Awards.
The seventh annual World MICE Awards recognizes excellence in the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry worldwide. Winners are selected through votes from MICE professionals, media, and consumers.

The resort was one of five Texas properties nominated for the award. Other nominees included Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio; The Ritz-Carlton Dallas in Las Colinas; San Luis Resort, Spa, and Conference Center in Galveston; and The St. Anthony in San Antonio.
Located on the shores of Lake Conroe, approximately an hour north of Houston, the resort offers more than 72,000 square feet of flexible event space, with indoor and outdoor venues overlooking the lake. The property’s meeting facilities accommodate corporate gatherings, conferences, and incentive programs in a lakeside setting.
Beyond its event spaces, the all-suite resort features a range of amenities for meeting attendees and incentive groups, including the 3.5-acre Jolly Mon Waterpark, the 18,000-square-foot St. Somewhere Spa, an 18-hole golf course, and watercraft rentals. Six onsite restaurants and bars offer cocktails and Margaritaville-inspired cuisine.
