Renovations at Resort at Longboat Key Club
Renovations will soon be complete at The Resort at Longboat Key Club, including all guestrooms and suites as well as various resort features, including two new recently opened dining options. The resort’s new fine dining restaurant, Latitudes, features locally harvested seafood and ingredients, and includes a private dining room accommodating up to 12 people. For casual poolside dining and drinks, the resort has introduced Banyan Poolside, featuring a tropical vibe and laid-back atmosphere perfect for a sunset cocktail.
The property offers 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space and 226 distinctive guestrooms and suites.
Venue with Customized Private Dining: The Devyn
One of Sarasota’s premier event venues, The Devyn prides itself on customizable experiences and state of the art infrastructure, offering plug and play technology.
The Devyn recently launched on-site and offsite catering, as new general manager Melissa Hensley was instrumental in creating new menus and packages, including the all-inclusive ‘Simple Sands’ package that helps ensure planners make their event a success.
Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary
Big Cat Habitat & Gulf Coast Sanctuary now offers their unique program Yoga with Tigers as a custom private experience for corporate and group events. The class, which caters to all fitness levels, offers a memorable and relaxing way to bond, as participants execute yoga positions surrounded by the sounds of big cats and more than 150 other animals (all of whom are safely inside their enclosures).
