NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Holston House, a 191-room boutique hotel in downtown Nashville, Tenn., is Shannon Williams as its new executive chef.

The 16-year industry veteran joins the hotel’s team with a focus on incorporating her specialty Southern cuisine infused with modern touches into Holston House’s weekend brunch service and throughout the hotel’s signature restaurant, TENN, fare.

As executive chef, Williams will oversee all of Holston House’s food and beverage offerings as well as the property’s catering operations.

“I’m honored to join the Holston House team. Their passion for their guest experience drew me in. This dedication to their craft creates a unique atmosphere on the property, and I find it elevates the experiences we are able to provide,” says Williams. “My food has always been my preferred way of expressing myself. I love Nashville, and I’m so excited to begin sharing this love for the city and all it has to offer through the menu at Holston House.”

Prior to joining Holston House, the southern Georgia native worked in country clubs across Nashville and Franklin, Tenn. She earned her Culinary Arts and Science degree from Johnson & Wales after receiving a scholarship from Chef Bobby Flay on Good Morning America in 2005.

In addition to spearheading Holston House’s culinary team, Williams will also work closely with the venue’s full leadership team to develop TENN’s dinner menu inspired by her Southern upbringing and family recipes. The updated dinner service is set to launch in early February.

“We are thrilled to have Shannon leading our culinary team. Based on her extensive industry experience, we are confident she will bring a creative and fresh perspective to our various on-property food and beverage offerings,” said Shannon Foster, area vice president and general manager of Holston House. “At Holston House, we pride ourselves on our curated team that allows us to create a fully immersive Nashville experience for our guests. Shannon’s expertise in Southern cooking and her passion for sourcing local, sustainable food make her an ideal fit for our team and our mission to encompass Music City through our offerings.”
