DALLAS—Sheraton Dallas Hotel is expanding its meetings and events offerings with new experiential programming, culinary activations, and a multi-property collaboration, as planners increasingly seek more engaging and flexible formats.
“As expectations for meetings continue to evolve, planners are looking for experiences that go beyond the agenda,” says Chandana Weerasekara, hotel manager. “Our focus is on creating an environment where business objectives and meaningful attendee experiences can coexist seamlessly.”
The largest hotel in Texas, Sheraton Dallas is introducing a range of customizable programs designed to move beyond traditional meeting formats. New offerings include chef-led dining experiences, hands-on culinary workshops, and themed activations, such as barbecue demonstrations, mixology sessions, and local brewery showcases.
For smaller gatherings, the hotel offers chef-guided, multi-course dining experiences with interactive elements and curated presentations from culinary experts. More casual options include outdoor barbecue events featuring onsite smoked meats and local craft beers, along with demonstrations and storytelling components.
Additional programming includes interactive workshops, such as spice-blending sessions and cocktail-making classes, as well as retail-style experiences like custom cowboy hat and boot fittings, all aimed at incorporating local culture into meetings.
The hotel is also expanding onsite entertainment options. Weekly mixology classes and new gaming and karaoke spaces at its sports bar are designed to provide networking opportunities without requiring offsite travel.
Sheraton Dallas is also part of the Dallas Downtown Connection, which links it with three nearby Marriott properties to accommodate large-scale events. The network offers more than 310,000 square feet of meeting space, 2,742 guest rooms, and 87 breakout rooms, along with centralized planning and billing. The partnership reflects growing demand for streamlined logistics and scalable event planning.
Sheraton Dallas Hotel features 1,841 guest rooms, more than 230,000 square feet of meeting space, a rooftop pool, a fitness center, and multiple dining venues.
