The Clearwater/St. Petersburg/St. Pete Beach area offers planners award-winning beaches and diverse venues accessible via Tampa International Airport and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE).

On St. Pete Beach, the 40-acre TradeWinds Island Resorts consists of two properties: Island Grand at TradeWinds and RumFish Beach at TradeWinds. The adjoining hotels offer a total of 734 guest rooms, 14 dining experiences, a floating waterpark with a three-story waterslide, and 70,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space, including the 8,400-square-foot Island Ballroom and a 10,584-square-foot permanent tented pavilion.

On Clearwater Beach, the Opal Sands/Opal Sol resort complex offers 106,000 square feet of event space; its largest space has a capacity of 950 theater style and 800 for receptions. In Palm Harbor, Innisbrook Resort features 485 guest rooms, 80,000 square feet of event space, and four golf courses, including the top-rated Copperhead Course, site of the PGA TOUR’s Valspar Championship. Overlooking Tampa Bay in downtown St. Petersburg, the 361-room Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection features 74,897 square feet of event space across 21 event rooms and 24 breakout rooms. The resort’s largest space can accommodate up to 1,000 people seated theater style. Modern beachfront options include the AAA Four Diamond Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, which can accommodate up to 720 people in its largest space. JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa features 18,546 square feet of event space; its largest venue has a capacity of 600 people. The 286-room Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa features six indoor and outdoor event spaces; the largest, a 4,000-square-foot ballroom, can accommodate up to 400 people. The outdoor Sky Terrace, overlooking the beach, accommodates up to 300 guests.

In downtown Clearwater, BayCare Sound outdoor waterfront venue can accommodate up to 9,000 people (4,000 covered seats and 5,000 lawn seats). NOVA 535, located in a restored 100-year-old St. Petersburg building, can host up to 775 people in its largest space. Art-filled venue options in St. Petersburg include Dalí Museum, James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art, and Museum of Fine Arts.
St. Pete-Clearwater offers 50 breweries, Dunedin’s waterfront dining, Safety Harbor’s MICHELIN-recognized cuisine, and Greek-themed events at Tarpon Springs’ Sponge Docks. St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport—approximately 12 miles from both downtowns—offers the new Grouper Airport Express on-demand shuttle service, which runs between the airport and any location on Clearwater Beach, including some resorts.
