Brunswick has a charming downtown with shops, restaurants, historic squares, and a marina. The 130-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Brunswick contains 5,000 square feet of event space for up to 200 guests in theater seating. The 97-room Hampton Inn & Suites has 2,530 square feet of event space and can host receptions and banquets of up to 150 people. Other hotel options include the 84-room Hilton Garden Inn Brunswick, offering 1,680 square feet of event space for a capacity of 150 seated theater style and 140 for receptions. Holiday Inn Brunswick I-95 contains 1,450 square feet of meeting space across four rooms and can host up to 100 people in its largest space. In the city’s historic downtown, The Kress Brunswick boutique hotel features one- and two-bedroom suites in the building originally built in 1909 as part of the Samuel H. Kress & Co. Five & Dime department store. The hotel includes meeting space upon request and features a rooftop restaurant, 1509 Brunswick.
About a 15-minute drive southeast of Brunswick, Jekyll Island Convention Center boasts 75,000 square feet of event space and fits a capacity of 6,450 for receptions and 3,600 seated theater style in its largest space. An outdoor gazebo and lawn space accommodate 4,000 for receptions or 1,000 for banquets, while the oceanside lawn space accommodates 1,700 for receptions or 500 for banquets. Nearby, Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort boasts 5,159 square feet of meeting space across four meeting rooms and three breakout rooms, with a capacity of 350 in its largest space.
Jekyll Island Club Resort features 157 guest rooms and 14,500 square feet of event space, while Villas By The Sea Resort & Conference Center features a flexible 9,000-square-foot conference center for 10 to 500 guests. A mile-and-a-half from the convention center, Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island boasts 3,000 square feet of meeting space and accommodates up to 333 guests in its largest area.
On St. Simons Island, King & Prince Beach and Golf Resort has 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space and can accommodate 300 people in its largest ballrooms. Outdoor space on the Atlantic Court Lawn is also available. Sea Palms Resort & Conference Center has eight indoor and outdoor event areas for hosting up to 400 seated theater style and 300 for receptions. The 400-room Cloister on Sea Island boasts more than 28,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space for up to 500 people. Approximately 26,000 square feet of outdoor space is also available.
