SAN ANTONIO—Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk has earned the No. 7 spot among the city’s conference hotels in U.S. News & World Report’s inaugural Best Conference Hotels rankings.
The recognition follows a multimillion-dollar renovation of the hotel’s meeting and event spaces. Updates included refreshed ballrooms and meeting rooms, custom finishes, enhanced lighting, modern audiovisual technology, programmable lighting systems, digital signage, new furnishings, and upgraded pre-function areas.
“We’re honored to be recognized in the inaugural edition of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Conference Hotels rankings,” says Chryssaldo Thomas, hotel general manager. “San Antonio is an exceptional destination for meetings and conferences, and our location along the River Walk gives groups an ideal setting to connect beyond the meeting room, with easy access to the city’s cultural attractions, dining, and entertainment.”
U.S. News & World Report evaluated conference hotels in select U.S. destinations based on meeting and event space, industry recommendations and awards, hotel class, guest reviews, business and leisure amenities, location, and affordability.
Located at the intersection of the River Walk and historic Alamo Plaza, the downtown hotel offers renovated event space, updated guest rooms, onsite dining, and access to San Antonio’s cultural, historic, and entertainment attractions.
