
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Mardi Gras parades may be cancelled this year, but the carnival spirit lives on through Mardi Gras for All Y’all, a virtual three-day celebration of the New Orleans party spirit hosted by NOLA.com and Mardi Gras World.
The free event will feature appearances by New Orleans chefs, artists and celebrities at iconic locations such as Mardi Gras World, Antoine’s, and Dookie Chase.
The event takes place Feb. 12-14, starting at 8 p.m. CST each day. The virtual Carnival celebration is sponsored by a number of New Orleans businesses and Louisiana travel organizations, including New Orleans & Company, Louisiana Travel, the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, and Visit Jefferson Parish.
The entertainment lineup includes Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Recipients Leo Nocentelli and George Porter, Jr. of The Meters, Al “Carnival Time” Johnson, and Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
Other appearances include Louisiana icons such as Emeril Lagasse, Hoda Kotb, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Archie Manning, and Jimmy Buffett.
