NEW ORLEANS—New Orleans Marriott has completed a property-wide renovation of its 1,333 guest rooms and suites, along with a redesign of its M Club lounge.

The hotel is located near the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and Caesars Superdome. The project is intended to enhance accommodations and amenities for leisure, business, and convention travelers.

“As one of the largest convention hotels in the region, the New Orleans Marriott plays an important role in welcoming visitors to our city,” says Frank Zumbo, general manager. “This comprehensive renovation represents a significant investment in the guest experience and reinforces our commitment to serving both leisure and group travelers with modern accommodations, enhanced amenities, and the hospitality for which New Orleans is known. Located in a city that was ‘Built to Host,’ we are proud to continue evolving this iconic hotel while remaining a trusted destination at the center of the city’s business, cultural, and entertainment districts.”

The renovation converted double guest rooms to queen accommodations. Most guest rooms now feature walk-in showers, sliding bathroom barn doors, marble vanities, and illuminated mirrors. In king rooms, chaise lounges convert to full-size beds.

Suites received updated décor, hard-surface flooring in living areas, refreshed wet bars, and new residential-style amenities. Chaise lounges in Crescent City and Tower Suites now convert to double beds, while five new Crescent City queen suites provide additional options for groups and shared stays.

The hotel also updated its specialty suites, including the Presidential Suite, bi-level Mayor’s Suite, Governor’s Suite, and two-bedroom General Manager’s Suite.

The redesigned M Club is available to Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and qualifying guests. The lounge features contemporary furnishings, flexible work and relaxation seating, upgraded finishes, teal accents, and a chandelier featuring glass orbs with gold accents.

New Orleans Marriott offers more than 86,000 square feet of meeting space, including event venues on the 41st floor with views of the Mississippi River and the city skyline. Additional amenities include two rooftop pools, a 24-hour fitness center, and five onsite F&B outlets.

The hotel is within walking distance of the convention center, Caesars Superdome, Jackson Square, and nearby dining and entertainment venues.
