Besides being home to a 186,000-acre reservoir and top-ranked bass fishing, the Toledo Bend Lake Country in Sabine Parish offers business-ready spaces, supported by a regional inventory of resort guest rooms, private cabins, and state park lodges.
“Toledo Bend Lake Country is a hidden gem,” says Georgia Craven, executive director of the Sabine Parish Tourist Commission. “Groups can immerse themselves in work and play while enjoying some of the most beautiful scenery Louisiana has to offer.”
In 2023, Cypress Bend Resort, a Wyndham Hotel completed a multimillion-dollar transformation, fully updating its 95 guest rooms, dining spaces, lobby, and meeting facilities; and, in 2025, completed a $6.5 million reconstruction of its championship 18-hole golf course. Cypress Bend offers 11,000 square feet of flexible event space, including the 3,500-square-foot Grand Ballroom, an executive boardroom, an amphitheater, and a pavilion.
Set across 40 acres and under new ownership, Wildwood resort can accommodate up to 200 guests across 31 fully furnished cabins, lodges, and upgraded RV sites. The resort features a new water adventure park and includes the WJ Brown Conference Center, which has an attached, glass-enclosed pavilion with a full commercial kitchen and an adjoining 1,750-square-foot outdoor deck overlooking a landscaped, stocked pond.
Planners can schedule guided group fishing trips with a customized “catch and cook” dining experience. Group options also include North Toledo Bend State Park, which has 10 deluxe log cabins and a group camp accommodating up to 150 people. The park features an indoor meeting room seating 60 people, two outdoor pavilions, and an event pavilion.
