NAPLES, Fla. – Innovation Hotel has named Victoria Walther as group sales manager of the 169-room hotel, which caters to the needs of executive-level medical and corporate meetings.
Walther will oversee all sales efforts for the hotel, working to generate new business and increase revenue in the medical meetings market and the local and regional corporate meetings market. Opened in early 2020, Innovation Hotel is located adjacent to the corporate headquarters of Arthrex, a global medical device company, which utilizes the hotel to accommodate surgeons and other leading medical professionals from around the world.
“As the meetings landscape, and healthcare meetings in particular, continues to evolve at a staggering pace, we couldn’t be happier to have Victoria leading our sales efforts during these exceptionally challenging times,” said hotel general manager Gary Hyre. “Innovation Hotel is a uniquely designed venue for executives looking to reconvene collaborative corporate meetings, and Victoria is uniquely qualified to connect those leaders with this remarkable space.”
Walther brings more than three decades of hospitality experience to her role. Prior to joining Innovation Hotel, Walther was national sales manager for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where she was recognized as a Golden Circle Achiever and Pinnacle Award Achiever for her performance in sales production and revenue management.
Walther began her career at the InterContinental Hotel Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. When the property was purchased by Westin Hotels & Resorts, she was asked to stay on as sales manager and was later nominated Southeast Region Sales Manager of the Year. She earned her degree in financial management from Clemson University.
“In all my time in the industry, I’ve never seen a property quite like Innovation Hotel,” said
Walther. “With multiple safety systems in place and its sophisticated, ‘meeting-centric’
design, I can’t imagine a better venue for an industry that is struggling to find workable solutions
that will spark innovation and imagination.”
