Wilson County is minutes away from Nashville, but without the crowds and high prices, according to Jason Johnson, director of Wilson County CVB. “We offer outdoor adventures at Cedars of Lebanon State Park, family-friendly attractions, such as Fiddlers Grove Historic Village, local Southern dining restaurants, and farm-to-table experiences,”
he says. “In Wilson County, you’ll find historic downtowns, plus recognized events like NASCAR and IndyCar racing. We’re also the home of the Tennessee State Fair, with local fairs and community events that make everyone feel welcome.”
The county’s largest event space is the Farm Bureau Expo Center in Lebanon, which includes a 45,000-plus-square-foot main exhibit hall seating up to 6,600 people theater style, a 7,000-square-foot South Hall for banquets of up to 500 guests, and more than 7,000 square feet of extra concourse space. Additional event spaces include the 400-seat Capitol Theatre and The Mill at Lebanon, which includes the Grand Hall and spaces for networking events, fundraisers, and classes. Wild Turkey Ranch, a 52-acre property across from Cedars of Lebanon State Park, has multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces, while Billy Goat Hill Retreat, an 11-acre property, offers multiple spaces for events of up to 100 guests.
The dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn Mt. Juliet and Tru by Hilton Mt. Juliet have a total of 172 guest rooms and meeting space for 300 attendees. Courtyard Nashville Mt. Juliet has 3,195 square feet of function space.
